Course Content | This course contains; Working principles in the microbiology laboratory, materials, equipment and devices used in bacteriology,Clinical samples, transportation conditions to the laboratory, procedures applied in the laboratory,Types of microscopes, use of light microscope,Bacterial microscopy, simple staining technique application,Gram staining application,Acid-fast bacteria staining technique (EZN),Bacterial culture,Basic methods used in bacterial identification - biochemical, immunological, genetic,Antibiotic sensitivity tests,Automated systems used in identification. |
