Aim | It is aimed for the students taking this course to learn the relationship between maxillofacial surgery and systemic diseases and how to approach patients with systemic diseases in terms of surgical procedures in the maxillofacial surgery clinic. |
Course Content | This course contains; Medical evaluation of the patient,Cardiovascular system diseases,Respiratory system diseases,Gastrointestinal system diseases,Endocrine and metabolic diseases,Immune system diseases,Hematological diseases,Oncological diseases,Musculoskeletal system diseases,Behavioral and psychological diseases,Introduction to emergencies and their treatments,Cardiac emergencies,Emergency intervention in vasodepressor syncope, hyperventilation, thyroid crisis and asthma,Orthostatic hypotension, overdose and allergic reactions,Emergency intervention in diabetes mellitus, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and epilepsy. |
