Course Content | This course contains; 1. The Objectives of Prosthetic Treatment in Edentulous Patients,2. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning in Total Prosthesis,3. Macroscopic Anatomy of Supporting Tissue in Total Prosthesis,4. Muscles and Other Structures which Affecting the Total Prosthesis,5. Retention in Total Prosthesis,6. Impression, impression tray and impression materials in Total Prosthesis,7. Border Molding Methods in Total Prosthesis,8. Impression Techniques in Total Prosthesis,9. Boxing Methods and Base Plate Construction,10. Identification of Vertical Dimension in Total Prosthesis,11. Interocclusal Records and Mounting of Casts on Articulator in Total Prosthesis,12. Wax Rim and Trial in Total Prosthesis,13. Teeth Selecting, Teeth Arrangement, Modeling,14. Try-in Appointment, Taking the Muffle, Final Stage,15. Delivering the Total Prosthesis and Suggestions. |

1. Design the construction techniques of total prosthesis effectively and plan the prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous people in detail. | | |
2. Recognize the edentulous jaw anatomy and distinguish the anatomical formations. | | |
3. Comment the attactment and explain the concept of muscles and the others which affect the attachment. | | |
4. Summarize the indications of impression material and techniques which using total prosthesis. | | |
5. Manage the construction stages of total prosthesis independently. | | |
