Aim | It is aimed to bring students to the level of knowledge that can produce solutions and ideas in this regard by examining the legislation on personal health data, which is increasingly important and constantly updated in today's technological world, by following current legal developments. |
Course Content | This course contains; General information on personal data law within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6198.,Concepts and explanations included within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law, definitions of personal data and special quality data - health personal data.,KVKK/GDPR Application Examples in the healthcare sector,Protection of personal data in the healthcare sector,Deletion, destruction, anonymization, explicit consent and disclosure requirements of personal health data.,In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, information security rules that employees in district health directorates, public hospitals, private hospitals, university hospitals, medical centers, polyclinics and laboratories must comply with.,Criminal law sanctions in case of violation of personal health data. ,TCK art. Crime of recording personal data within the scope of Article 135.,TCK art. Crime of illegally providing or obtaining data within the scope of Article 136.,TCK art. The situation where the crimes regulated in Articles 135 and 136 are committed by taking advantage of the convenience provided by a certain profession or art.,TCK art.
