Aim | It develops students' visual expression skills by providing information about basic photography techniques, composition rules and the use of photographic equipment. |
Course Content | This course contains; What is photography? Discovery of photography, history and development of news photography. Technical process of photography. Cameras; working principles of 35. mm and digital cameras. Properties of film and digital materials. ,Exposure and Control systems. Aperture and shutter speed definitions and their relationship. Film speeds. ISO usage areas. Depth of field and focusing systems. Composition knowledge. Perspective studies in photography.,Introduction of lenses. Physical working principles. Lens types and usage areas. Normal, wide, tele, zoom and macro lenses.,Applied outdoor photography in actual environment. It will be done outside the classroom. Camera / Diaphragm / Shutter / Lens relations practice.,Discussion on the photographs taken by the students. Evaluation of group work. Explanation of Adobe Lightroom Program.,Corporate PORTrait photography. Side equipment used.
