Aim | To define the institutionalization and transformation of political communication in liberal democracies by considering political communication with its mainstream and critical dimensions in the historical development process. |
Course Content | This course contains; Ways of defining political communication. Relationships between politics and communication,Main actors of political communication. Roles and functions of political communication.,The role of political communication in ensuring political legitimacy. Relations between political communication and the scientificization of politics.,Rhetoric and rhetoric types as a form of political communication.,Political speech today and the media's role in political speech.,Functions of political campaigns, election campaigns in Turkey and the professionalization process.
