Attention to International Medical Students

Applications are now open for current Year-V students of our International Medical School who want to undertake a clinical internship, improve their knowledge and experience, and engage in observational learning in the 2024-2025 academic year at universities and educational institutions in the United States that have signed a bilateral protocol with our University. Selection conditions for prospective students to apply are stated below. The first 5 items were determined as application requirements and the other items were determined as scoring criteria. Applications of students who do not meet the application requirements will not be evaluated. Applicant students must submit their CGPA and documents regarding the following conditions. The evaluation will be announced by ranking the primary and reserve candidates according to the quota.

1.    Being a registered and active student in Year-V during the application period.

2.    Not having received any disciplinary punishment.

3.    Motivation letter written in English.

4.    The student must document his/her English language proficiency or be found successful/sufficient after an interview.

5.    Students accepted through lateral transfer must have studied at least two academic years at the school.

6.    To have participated actively in the education-related boards and commissions of our school. (10 points each)

7.    To have taken part in scientific research, publishing or presenting a publication/patent/poster (10 points each)

8.    To take part in events of our university's events such as promotion, career, etc. (each event 5 points)

9.    Managing or taking an active role in the student club established within our school. (5 points each)

10.    Taking part in the Medipol Peer Education Program (Medipol Akran Eğitim Programı - AKREP) and serving as a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) directer and Basic Clinical Skills Trainer. (10 points)
