Exam Right of Faculty of Health Sciences Students Whose Maximum Period Has Expired

Within the scope of Higher Education Legislation No. 2547, Article 44-c, senior students whose maximum term (7 years) has expired are given the right to take TWO ADDITIONAL EXAMS for all the courses they failed in order to graduate from the program they are enrolled in at the end of the maximum period.

Conditions for Participating in Additional Exams at the End of the Maximum Term:

  • Having learned all the courses that must be taken in order to graduate, for those who cannot pass to the senior year,
  • Not having failed all courses taken due to absenteeism,
  • Not recording the maximum duration of the program for the entire program (7 years) is to obtain the Additional Exam ability.

At the end of Additional Exams:

  • Those who reduce the number of failed courses to five courses will receive three semesters for these five courses.
  • Four semesters for students who have failed up to five courses without taking additional exams,
  • Those who have only one failed course at the end of the additional exams are given the right to take the exams of the course they failed unlimited times, and students who are given unlimited exam rights cannot benefit from student rights.
  • A student who has not taken the exams for a total of three consecutive or intermittent academic years is deemed to have given up his right to unlimited exams and cannot benefit from this right.
  • The registrations of students who cannot reduce the number of failed courses to five after the additional exams at the end of the maximum period will be deleted.

Additional Exam Application Date:

  • Applications will be scanned and sent to the e-mail address [email protected] between 26 - 30 June 2024.
  • Exams will be held face to face between 16 - 20 July 2024, and the exam dates will be announced separately.
