About Summer Course Program and Registration
The 2023-2024 Summer course will be held between July 8 and August 9, 2024. Classes will be held FACE TO FACE five days a week in the classrooms of North Campus A Block.
The class lists will continue simultaneously with the registration, so students who want to register and find out their class are kindly requested to consult the language school planning unit in office AZ-01 before the lesson time.
The summer course is only available for "active" students enrolled in Istanbul Medipol University English Preparatory Program.
The hours of the summer course, which consists of 28 hours of weekly face-to-face classes plus 2 hours of weekly online ESP classes, are as follows;
09.00 - 10.30 (1st and 2nd lessons)
10.45 - 12.15 (3rd and 4th lessons)
12.45 - 14.15 (5th and 6th lessons)
Evaluation Criteria
ESP: 10 %
Online Homework: 10%
Portfolio Work: 30%
End of Summer Course Examination: 50%

End of Summer Course Examination (face to face) will be held.
* Summer Course passing grade is 75. In order for students to be successful in the summer course, they must score at least 75 points, taking into account the criteria mentioned above.
Summer Course Payments
Summer Course fee includes books and resources to be used.
It is 15.000 TL for ÖSYM registration students and $1.000 (USD) for International students.
Payments of summer course fees will be made between July 5 - July 16, 2024 and payments will be made as follows:
- It can be paid by credit card using the online payment system through your summer course registration to be created on the MEBIS page. (Payments can be made through the summer course registration on the Mebis- Payments screen).
- Payments cannot be made in cash at our university. Cash payments can be paid to the following account information via money order / EFT.
- No discount will be applied for one-time payments made by credit card and money order/EFT.
- Students who have registered for the Summer Course are not refunded.
- If the full payment is not made, the registration process will not be completed.
-Students who have not made their payments can register for classes provided that they complete their financial procedures in the first week of the summer course. Students who still have not completed their payment in the second week will be removed from the class lists.

Important Note:
* Payments made to USD account; It is calculated based on the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye exchange rate one day before the date the payment is received in our account.
BOOK DISTRIBUTIONS WILL BE MADE EVERY WEEKDAY BY THE SECRETARIAT.
!!! Book distributions will be made to the students who have made the payment according to the list from accounting. You can come to pick up your books one day after you pay in TL and 2 days after you pay in USD.
