The preventative effect of the media on the July 15 coup attempt discussed

Istanbul Medipol University School of Communication organized a workshop titled “The Role of Traditional and New Media in Preventing the July 15 Coup Attempt”. The workshop, held at the School of Communication Media Center, was attended by Prof. Ali Büyükaslan, Dean of the School of Communication, Prof. Yusuf Özkır, Head of the Department of Journalism, Ayşe Varank Arslantürk, Board Member of the July 15 Association, Assoc. Prof. Enes Bayraklı, Faculty Member at the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations at Turkish-German University, Merve Şebnem Oruç, Editor-in-Chief of Diriliş Postası Newspaper, journalists Elif Şahin and Gaffar Yakınca, and July 15 Veterans Musa İlhan and Sabri Gündüz.
