Istanbul Medipol University, aiming to educate individuals capable of responding to the changing needs of society and contributing to universal science, has gained lasting advantages through its education and the distinctiveness it brings, with a focus on the production of science and technology. Since its establishment, the university has made successful contributions to the field of health at both national and international levels, establishing itself as a leading institution.
The goal is to evaluate the experience and knowledge the university possesses in this field to produce studies related to health systems and policies.
By utilizing the expertise of individuals specializing in various disciplines within the university, the aim is to contribute to health-related topics, formulate evidence-based policies, and provide guidance to healthcare managers and decision-makers. In line with this objective, the Istanbul Medipol University Health Systems and Policies Implementation and Research Center was established on 21st February 2018, following approval in the Higher Education Executive Board meeting.
GOALS:
Within the center,
• Analysis of local and global health policies,
• Design of a sustainable and community-responsive health system,
• Preparation of system evaluation reports,
• Analysis of legal structures in the health field and active contribution to legal regulations,
• Modeling and simulation of health processes and systems,
• Management of technology and innovation in health,
• Conducting research for situational analysis in the health sector,
• Conducting studies on health diplomacy, health tourism, and system exports,
• Support for postgraduate education,
• Training of experts and researchers in health, and promotion of multidisciplinary studies,
• Dissemination of knowledge through national and international congresses, symposiums, panels, workshops, printed, visual, and electronic publications,
• Provision of education and consultancy services.
Merkez, yerel ve küresel sağlık politikalarını izleyip analiz ederek, toplumun gerçekleri ve beklentilerine uygun sürdürülebilir sağlık sistemleri tasarlama konusunda hizmet sunmayı üstlenmiştir.
Merkez, amaçları doğrultusunda ulusal ve uluslararası kuruluşlarla gerekli işbirliklerini geliştirerek kısa sürede uluslararasılaşmayı hedeflemiştir. Bu hedefe uygun şekilde güncel konulara ve geleceğe yönelik politika dokümanları hazırlama, ihtiyaç halinde kamu ve özel kuruluşlara bilimsel destek ve danışmanlık hizmetleri sunma, insan kapasitesi oluşturma gibi işlevleri bulunmaktadır.
