Aim | This course aims to examine various important issues faced in today's media environment. By focusing on issues such as media ethics, censorship, misinformation dissemination, manipulation, news accuracy, media diversity, the course aims to provide students with the ability to understand and analyze the challenges faced in the contemporary media environment. Students develop critical thinking and media literacy skills by examining a variety of examples to understand the power and influence of media tools. Through discussions, case studies, examples and group work, students will acquire the necessary tools to understand and evaluate the social, cultural and political impact of the media. |
