Course Content | This course contains; Course description, scope, rationale, importance, rule and necessity,The history and development of the profession in Turkey opticianry,History of glasses and lenses,Optician profession, duties and responsibilities of optician,Terminological terms and professional definitions,Transpose,Types of glasses and frames,Refraction defects and correction techniques of lenses,Dioptric forces of glasses in different meridian,Properties of concave and convex lenses,Physical and chemical properties of organic and mineral lenses,Anti-reflection coatings on spectacle lenses,Frame selection according to face type and considerations when choosing a frame,Phocometer introduction and usage technique. |
