Individual and group counseling services are offered within the framework of guidance and psychological counseling services. Studies are carried out in the unit to support the individual, emotional and social development of students. Consultancy services are provided by appointment system throughout the school term and are carried out at specified hours. Consulting services are free. Process in consultancy services; It is carried out within the framework of the principles of confidentiality, trust, voluntariness, equal relationship and acceptance.
Individual Consultancy
It is a professional consultancy service for individuals who want to know themselves, understand their behavior, increase and develop their awareness, and who sometimes encounter difficulties in coping with events. The client's awareness of himself increases, he produces solutions for himself, makes decisions and implements them with the help of the consultant. Even if individuals consider themselves inadequate to solve their problems, they realize their problems and can face these problems through individual counseling services. In this way, it is aimed for them to be more successful and productive in both their academic and social lives.
Group Consultancy
It is a process in which a group of people who have gained awareness about their problems come together with a group leader and share their problems. A person can express many positive or negative feelings and thoughts that he has not been able to express throughout his life, during the group psychological counseling process, and his awareness increases and he has the opportunity to get to know himself. In a group counseling environment, members become aware of their individual differences. They learn that there may be people with different characteristics than themselves. The basic principles of individual counseling (confidentiality, trust, voluntariness, acceptance) also apply to group counseling.
