The ‘Olive Flower National Short Film Competition’ Awards were announced

Awards were given to the winners in the ‘Olive Flower National Short Film Competition’ organized for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in cooperation with Istanbul Medipol University Vocational School of Health Services, Türkiye Beyazay Association, and Bahçelievler Municipality. In the competition organized with the theme “Are we different, are we aware?”, the awards were delivered to their owners at Bahçelievler Cultural Center, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Coordinated by the Vocational School of Health Services – Dialysis Program Department Head Selda Selimoğlu Namoğlu, many people attended the event, including our Vocational School of Health Services Director Prof. İlknur Keskin, Türkiye Beyazay Association Chairman Lokman Ayva, Bahçelievler Municipality Deputy Mayor Göksel Erdem, the Confederation of People with Disabilities President Yusuf Çelebi, and the Director of Services for the Elderly of the Ministry of Family and Social Services Esra Ceceli.

PROF. KESKİN DELIVERED THE OPENING SPEECH
Our Vocational School of Health Services Director Prof. İlknur Keskin made the opening speech at the event, and the winners of the competition were determined by the jury consisting of cartoonist Salih Memecan, theater and cinema actress Mehtap Bayri, and cinema actor Nurullah Çelebi. As a result of the competition, the first place was awarded 20 thousand TL, the second place was 15 thousand TL, and the third place was 10 thousand TL. The winning directors and movie titles of the competition, in which young directors between the ages of 15-30 participated, are as follows:

Fatih Alibaz Dursun - Ademin Olağanüstü Yaşamı (The Extraordinary Life of Adam)

Second:
Ahmet Ceylan - Kanatsız Melek (Wingless Angel)

Third:
Veysel Baki Biçer - Sınırsız Farkındalık (Boundless Awareness)
