Assoc. Prof. Ekim's “Edirne as a Souvenir in Postcards” exhibition opened

Istanbul Medipol University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Emel Ekim’s exhibition “Edirne as a Souvenir in Postcards”, consisting of Ekim's collection, was presented to visitors at Devecihan Cultural Center.

The exhibition, which consists of the collection of Istanbul Medipol University Vocational School faculty member Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Emel Ekim and includes images of Edirne in the 19th and 20th centuries as well as when Edirne was the Ottoman capital, was presented to visitors at Devecihan Cultural Center. The exhibition, the opening of which was attended by Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, includes nearly 100 postcards with photographs of Edirne Municipality Building, Civil Secondary School, Alyans Jewish School, Government House, Edirne Union and Progress Club Building, Karaağaç Train Station, Edirne Atatürk Monument, Dertli Mustafa Fountain, bridges, and mosques. In addition to Governor Sezer, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Kemal Soytürk, Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Harun Tohumcu, Director of Industry and Technology Salih Akbulut, Director of Land Registry Remzi Çivi, Director of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Engin Öztürk, Provincial Director of Trade Mahmut Altun, Edirne Regional Director of Foundations Ahmet Saraç, Director of National Education Önder Arpacı, Director of Trakya University Vocational School of Social Sciences Prof. Mustafa Hatipler, and guests attended the opening. The exhibition can be visited until Monday, December 11.
