Cooperation between Medipol and HIMMS

Medipol University and Hospital Information Management Systems Association (HIMSS) signed a protocol of cooperation. The protocol includes the process of measuring and evaluating the use of information technology in public hospitals in Turkey.Within the scope of the cooperation, HIMSS General Manager Stephen Lieber visited Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydin, Rector of Medipol University at his office in Kavacik North Campus.The cooperation includes the process of measuring and evaluating the use of information technology in public hospitals in Turkey according to the HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) model.HIMSS, founded in 1961, aims to develop and use information technology in health services.HIMSS has been operating in Turkey since 2013 and has been working with the Ministry of Health to measure the electronic health register level in public hospitals under the protocol signed.
